Real projects, real hours

In MGT 310, about 125 students a semester each put fifteen applied hours into a community project, with skills mapped to NACE career competencies.

Students practice with free AI tools on real tasks, so career readiness does not depend on a subscription.

Beyond the classroom

CSU Job Shadow Program. Proposed to Chancellor Timothy White after his visit to MGT 310; it has served nearly 100 students.
Innovation Incubator. As faculty founder, I have mentored more than 40 student and community ventures.
Student organizations. Faculty advisor to the PIHRA and SHRM chapter since 2007, and to the Toro Entrepreneur Society.
Research mentoring. McNair, Chancellor’s Doctoral Incentive Program, and Presidential scholars, on projects from workplace aggression to digital access.
Teaching abroad and away. Nehemiah University and University “Aleksander Moisiu” in Albania, a guest lecture and commencement address in Ethiopia, and a visiting professorship at the University of Wisconsin–Superior in Fall 2025.
